Approximately 300 years ago,There were a lot of castles in Shikoku.
In the castles, there were many Samurais.
Each Samurai had its own faith and they fought for important people and disappeared once upon a time.
Now here in Matsuno-town, Ehime prefecture.
One Samurai is training hard the Samurai way（knight-errantry）to treat foreign travelers.
How are the Samurai training practices preserved for a lifetime?
The samurai’s name who lives in Matsuno-town is Ryoma Nikumoto.
He is one of the few samurais remaining in Japan.
He will teach about samurai training, Japanese traditional BBQ, how to drink sake Japanese alcohol.
You can stay at the samurai’s house,too!
There is a hot spring in front of the house.
You may spend such a spectacular day.

Japanese traditional BBQ course!
You will learn about the Japanese traditional BBQ straight from a samurai.
You can try to skewer a river fish.
And you can try to skewer pieces of chicken (Japanese yakitori).
This is a Japanese traditional BBQ grill which called “irori”.

②Grilled red spotted masu trout seasoned with salt.
③Jakoten (a kind of fried kamaboko=fish cake)
This is one of the local dishes of Ehime.

The samurai will teach how to drink sake in a Japanese traditional style.
Old samurais drunk sake before they went for a battle.They prayed for victory.
There is an old “sakagura ”(sake factory)near the samurai’s house where you can buy sake.
